We have decided to compile all the FAQs for our hair range into one, easy-to-read post so that you know exactly how to use the product, what to expect and everything else in between.
“Which products are best for me?”
Offering unique volumizing formulas, the Thickening Shampoo, and Conditioner feature ingredients to optimize scalp health. The cleansing and hydrating properties of the duo transform hair to feel fuller, look thicker, and improve the overall health of the strands.
Our exclusive Hair Volume Enhancing Foam is like RevitaLash for your hair. It features our proprietary BioPeptin Complex®, the same science found in RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner, and is proven to boost the vitality of hair, improve elasticity to help combat breakage, and aid in conditioning. We highly recommend this product for hair thinning and hair loss and it is best used in conjunction with the shampoo and conditioner.
“How much product should I use and how often should I be using it?”
The beauty of our Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner is that it has been designed to replace your current hair washing regime. So whether you’re washing your hair daily, or twice a week, you can continue as is using the Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner.
In terms of how much to use, it depends on how long, short, thick, or thin your hair is. However, a good rule of thumb is to start with the amount of a 50c piece and adjust accordingly if you find it too much, or not enough.
Make sure to focus the application of the shampoo and conditioner to the roots of the hair and the scalp, allow the product to sit for 1-2 minutes before rinsing.
With our Volume Enhancing Foam, you will find that half a pump to a full pump is sufficient, depending on the area of application. Use daily after your shower, on dry or wet hair.
“Do I need to keep using the products?”
If you love the results of our hair range then its best to continue using it - once you swap to a different product then your scalp and hair shafts will eventually revert to their original state.
“Can I use other hair care products simultaneously?”
You can continue your normal hair styling routine including blow-drying, styling, hairspray, etc. However, we do not recommend using products that may interfere with our haircare range, such as oils, leave-in conditioners, or hair masks. Instead, you can use the Thickening Conditioner as a hair mask once a week, leave it in for at least 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
“I have blonde hair, can I use a purple shampoo?”
We know our hair range is a non-negotiable if you want thick, luxurious, healthy hair. But we also understand the importance of using a purple shampoo if you want to avoid those brassy tones, therefore we suggest for every three-to-four times you wash your hair using RevitaLash Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner, to alternate one day using your favourite purple shampoo and conditioner.
Alternatively, mix half a squirt of Thickening Shampoo and half a squirt of your purple shampoo into the palm of your hand, give it a little mix with your finger before washing your hair as normal.
