At RevitaLash® Cosmetics, we’ve embarked on a mission to reduce our carbon footprint and become more eco-friendly while still bringing you the innovative, results driven products you’ve come to know and love. At the end of 2019 we appointed the former VP of International Sales, Dariel Sidney, to start leading the charge as our newly appointed VP of Philanthropy & Ethos. As the daughter of RevitaLash Cosmetics co-founder Gayle Brinkenhoff, and someone who has been with the company since its inception, we knew Dariel was the perfect choice for such an important role. 

Though it’s only been a few months, the changes we’ve made so far have been incredibly impactful. Our focus is currently on our Ventura Headquarters, where we’ve scrutinized everything from our coffee to our packaging. Here’s what we’ve accomplished so far:

• Our boxes and cello wrapping is now 100% recyclable
• Our boxes are made from 30% post-consumer fibers*
• Our carbon footprint has improved with a more streamlined supply chain
• We’ve removed all single use plastics from our office
• We’ve installed Skywell water machines and given employees their own reusable water bottles
• Our cleaning products are now, well, clean! We went from an “F” to an “A” in terms of their eco-friendliness
• We are in the process of getting certified as a green business in Ventura County
• We have removed all single-use pod coffee machines from the office and replaced them with drip coffee pots
• We are auditing our trash, re-learning how to recycle, and implementing strict recycling policies 

We’re not stopping there, in fact, our journey has just begun. We hope you’ll follow along for more exciting changes we have in the works.
