A Life of Meaning, Joy, and Impact
Gayle’s influence reaches far beyond the product she helped inspire. She shaped our company’s name, our values, and our enduring commitment to giving back.
“Gayle was the heart and soul of this brand,” says Dr. Brinkenhoff. “She was a source of courage and compassion — and she inspired our mission to give back.”
Her daughter, Dariel Sidney, our Vice President of Global Philanthropy, remembers how Gayle transformed a profound personal challenge into purpose: “She was able to take a hardship, something that negatively impacted her health, and turn it into something that positively impacted the world. What she started—the spirit of giving that continues to drive our company today—would not have happened had her illness not been there.”
To those who knew her, Gayle’s warmth was just as unforgettable as her strength. Her son Shane Cohn, our Senior Director of New Business Development, recalls: “She was the mom who was everyone’s mom. She was incredibly loving, very fashionable, and she knew how to have fun, no matter the situation. She was the life of the party. Her spirit and energy are missed by many.”
These memories reveal the woman at the center of the RevitaLash® Cosmetics legacy: someone who made people feel seen, welcomed, and encouraged — and whose compassion continues to guide us today.
How We Honor Gayle’s Legacy Every Day
A portion of the proceeds from every RevitaLash® Cosmetics purchase helps fund breast cancer initiatives that support patients and their families today while advancing research for lifesaving therapies tomorrow. This is our Eternally Pink® pledge — our year-round commitment that honors Gayle Brinkenhoff’s courage and strength, and that of women everywhere.
Since 2008, our RevitaLash® Cosmetics community has helped us contribute more than $14 million in donations, investments, and in-kind support to breast cancer initiatives. As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’ve set a bold goal: reaching $20 million for the cause.
“From the beginning, Gayle’s dream was that this company would make a difference,” Dr. Brinkenhoff says. “Every dollar represents a story: a patient helped, a family supported, a research breakthrough funded. It’s a living reflection of Gayle’s spirit and of the compassion that built this brand.”
